Who we are

My name is Jon Carson and I have owned Fenders and Fins, Inc. for 15 years. In total I have  over 40 years of autobody and restoration experience. I have been involved in the old car hobby since before I could legally drive, and have a wide knowledge base of all types of collector and special interest cars. Our staff bring years of shop experience as well, and we all share the fun and enjoyment of the cars we restore.

Our philosophy

We strive to work as efficiently as possible to deliver a high quality product as reasonably priced as we can. We believe vintage cars should be driven and seen, and work to make them function as a vehicle should, not just be static displays. The true entertainment is to be out on the road exercising the cars as they were designed, or perhaps better.

We feel restoration work should be done once, and done correctly with an eye toward future generations. While we do many full body and paint restorations, we also specialize in color matching and spot repairs and buffing, to make even survivor cars and trucks look their best without breaking the bank.

Foreign or domestic, pedestrian or exotic, we do them all, from the teens to current vehicles, and even toys and vintage appliances, we take it all on. We have done horse drawn wagons, and Ford GTs, fast and slow, low and tall. We use Axalta (Dupont) products of the highest quality, and take great pride in what we do. Our customers are very loyal, and often become friends. Our personal touch is what we believe sets us apart from other shops, as well as our experience. Thanks for checking into our work.
